Had a lovely couple of nights here. Martyn and Paula were great hosts, rooms very clean and comfy, good location and an even better breakfast.
Location very good and the breakfast excellent. The room was amazing and very clean. They can't do enough for you we will be back.
Lovely Visit
Lovely Guest house, run by a lovely couple in a great area close enough to stroll to the main attractions in the area, restaurants and pub/bars too Room lovely comfy bed. Breakfast was great lots of choice. Parking pass provided very useful even supplied a disc for after check out to allow us to stay in area a little longer which was very much appreciated. Thank you for a great stay.
Great stay, lovely hosts
The breakfast was lovely and there was a great selection. The location was great for getting to all different areas on foot and by car. Lots of little extra touches in the room like drinks facilities and bathroom extras.

Fabulous friendly Hosts Martyn & Paula provided the perfect relaxing accommodation for our Whitby trip. Lovely and clean and the breakfasts hit the spot everyday. Nothing too much trouble for Martyn and Paula and if you want anything do not be afraid to ask the question as they are more than accommodating. Keep up the good work and hope to see you soon xx
Fantstic stay in Whitby, would definatley come back to Ellie's guest house.
I would recommend Ellie's guest house as the location is fantastic, with parking available & included. The owners were very accommodating and looked after us on our stay. Breakfast was lovely too! Our room was spacious and comfortable and had everything we could need.
Clean, tidy and Martyn was very helpful and always on hand if needed. Great professional service and will look forward to visiting again.
Visit to Whitby for a Christening.
What a beautiful place to stay and a fabulous couple are Martin and Paula. From the moment we checked in, to the minute we checked out we felt welcomed. The family room we had was spacious, with everything you could have asked for, our bed was huge and my daughter had her own bed too so much space and would highly recommend people to stay. The breakfast on a morning was fantastic, nothing was ever an issue. All I can say is thank you, we will definatly be back soon to stay again.

Beautiful B & B, spotlessly clean. We stayed in room 3 which was really lovely with some nice touches. Martyn and Paula are great hosts, so friendly and breakfast was gorgeous too.

We stayed here for my 60th birthday. Paula & Martyn are very welcoming hosts to their guest house. On entering, we noticed how clean it was straight away. We were in room 7 at the very top. It was very cozy and clean with a very nice compact bathroom and shower supplied with toiletries and fluffy towels . TV was in the room and a kettle with tea coffee hot chocolate and biscuits. We had noticed all the positive reviews on here regarding the fantastic breakfast.... We were not disappointed... Paula is a chef so it had to be good... And it was better than that... There was fresh juices and fruit and yoghurt on the stand alone table which was very nice. Martyn is the goafer taking the orders... Such a nice pleasant man.. Everything is absolutely spotless in this guest house and we will be back... 10 minutes walk away from the centre. Watch out for Millie the very ferocious dog! She'll lick you to death...
